About The Position

The Line Lead works on the Pear Line at Old Station on a day shift. The regular schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, although hours may vary depending on production. This is a full-time, year-round position with one opening. A pre-employment drug test is required.

The Line Lead helps implement Stemilt standards throughout the line, leads and motivates the team, adjusts line speed, monitors cost per box and production quality, and ensures tickets in are cleared. The role may include duties beyond those listed.

Requirements

• Knowledge of fruit grades and sizes, varieties, machinery, and supplies.
• Ability to train new hires in job functions.
• Ability to make quick, informed decisions during periods of high pressure.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of pack schedules.
• Ability to perform repetitive work while maintaining attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist the supervisor in implementing Stemilt standards throughout the line.
• Lead and motivate the line team.
• Adjust line speed.
• Monitor cost per box.
• Ensure tickets in are cleared.
• Monitor production quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned, which may extend beyond the listed duties.
