About The Position

Lolo's is hiring a Line Cook to prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and help ensure smooth service. The role includes setting up and stocking stations, assisting with food preparation, monitoring food quality, and supporting inventory control. The Line Cook must follow food safety and sanitation requirements and be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The position requires standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies before service.
• Ensure food is prepared at the correct temperature, properly portioned, and attractively plated.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, workstations, and storage areas.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and preparing sauces.
• Communicate with kitchen team members and front-of-house staff to support smooth service.
• Monitor food quality and report issues to the Kitchen Supervisor or Executive Sous Chef.
• Support inventory control by minimizing waste and properly storing food items.
• Assist with assigned opening and closing duties.
