About The Position

The Busser supports restaurant service at Lolo's Surf Cantina by preparing and resetting dining areas, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting servers and hosts. The role involves serving and refilling water and beverages, monitoring tables, and helping maintain an orderly restaurant environment. The Busser must follow health and safety regulations and be able to work in a busy restaurant setting, including flexible AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
Meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities when working with high-profile clients.
Highly responsible and reliable.
Flexible availability to work AM and PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
Able to frequently lift, carry, bend, reach, and stoop.
Ability to safely lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to work in a busy restaurant setting.

Nice To Haves

Preferred 1–2 years of experience in a high-volume, luxury lounge or restaurant.

Responsibilities

Prepare dining areas before guests are seated.
Set tables with napkins, linens, silverware, and other required items; place tableware on tables.
Serve water as needed and refill beverages.
Remove dirty utensils and replenish them as needed.
Clean and reset tables after guests leave.
Maintain health and safety regulations in kitchen and dining areas.
Assist servers and hosts when necessary.
Keep restaurant areas neat and orderly at all times.
Check tables regularly for plate condition, empty glasses, and cleanliness.
Sweep and/or mop restaurant areas at the end of each shift, removing, cleaning, and replacing matting.
