About The Position

Piglatin Cocina is currently looking for Cooks. This role involves operating the grill station, fry station, assembly, and dishwasher. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, the ability to follow instructions precisely, keen attention to detail, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure. As a high-volume kitchen, excellent teamwork is essential. This position also offers the opportunity for cross-training at the Coati location.

Responsibilities

Prepare a variety of Latin inspired dishes according to established recipes and standards
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure the safety and quality of our food
Assist in the preparation of ingredients
Ensure that all dishes are cooked to perfection and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner
Collaborate with other members of the kitchen team to ensure that orders are completed quickly and efficiently
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils, as well as the work area, to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
Assist in the development of specials, as well as the creation of prep lists and par levels
Continuously seek out ways to improve our dishes, processes, and customer experience
