Life Insurance Specialist - Nashville, TN
About The Position
The Life Insurance Specialist drives growth by building relationships, developing leads, and helping members protect their futures through Life, Health, Annuity, Membership, and Financial Services products. The role combines consultative sales, product knowledge, and customer service to identify needs, close sales, achieve production goals, and support long-term member satisfaction. The position is primarily based within an ACG branch location and includes collaboration with branch partners to maximize referrals and cross-selling opportunities. This is an on-site position at 2501 21st Ave S Ste 1, Nashville, TN 37212. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The position is hourly and offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus: $1,000 after 30 days of employment and $1,500 after 90 days.
Responsibilities
- Solicit and sell Life and Health insurance and Annuity products, primarily within an ACG branch location, under minimal supervision.
- Develop leads and prospects for new accounts through phone calls, mailings, referrals, networking, website inquiries, and seminars.
- Prepare proposals and close sales of Life, Health, Annuity, Membership, and Financial Services products.
- Achieve established sales goals.
- Maintain knowledge of product features, marketing techniques, and sales techniques, and use sound sales practices.
- Respond to customer inquiries and problems.
- Build sales opportunities through customer engagement and follow-up.
- Complete applications and forms, and follow internal processing procedures to ensure transactions comply with company policies and practices.
- Prepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities.
- Maintain specified production standards and persistency levels for required products.
- Collaborate with branch colleagues to reach business goals and maximize leads, sales opportunities, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Assist Underwriting and Brokerage Departments in satisfying requirements.
