About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse also directs non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit. The role is with Crestwood Eureka, whose programs use recovery-based tools such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), along with recreational activities and resources that support clients’ personal, dual recovery, and spiritual goals. The schedule is full-time, NOC, Friday through Sunday. The stated pay range is $37 per hour. The final offer may depend on factors including the candidate’s skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background investigation, including criminal history and identity checks.
Requirements
- Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT.
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.
