About The Position

Crestwood is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within the nurse’s scope of practice. The role also provides direction to non-licensed personnel in delivering direct client care and operating the unit. The position is on-call at Crestwood Chula Vista, where services support clients’ recovery, resilience, wellness, and psychiatric stabilization through staff support and community connections.

Requirements

• Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
