About The Position

Crestwood is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide direct nursing care to clients in accordance with physicians’ orders, applicable client care standards, and the nurse’s scope of practice. The role also provides direction to non-licensed personnel in delivering direct client care and operating the unit. The position is on-call and may include AM, PM, and NOC schedules. It is based at Crestwood Ponderosa Healing House, which offers trauma-informed recovery programs and is part of the San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services’ redesigned Cordilleras Health and Healing Campus. The listed hourly base pay range is $39–$45.21; the final offer depends on factors including skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Requirements

Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT.
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
