About The Position

Crestwood is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) to provide direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within the employee’s scope of practice. The nurse will also direct non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit. The role is on-call and may involve AM, PM, and NOC shifts. The position is at Crestwood Ponderosa Healing House, which offers trauma-informed recovery programs as part of the San Mateo County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services’ redesigned Cordilleras Health and Healing Campus. The program is grounded in Crestwood’s commitment to a continuum of care that supports clients on their road to recovery. The stated pay range is $39–$45.21 per hour. Requirements

Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT.
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.
Successful completion of a background investigation, including criminal history and identity check.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
