About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within the nurse’s scope of practice. The nurse also directs non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit. Crestwood Center is a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Angwin, in the Napa Valley. The facility offers classes for clients participating in recovery programs and encourages active participation in treatment planning from admission. Crestwood describes its care model as personal and self-directed, supporting clients in developing skills to thrive. The role is offered as a full-time NOC schedule or on-call for AM, PM, and NOC shifts.
Requirements
- Current California licensure as an LVN or LPT.
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.

- Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
