About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), or Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse provides direction to non-licensed personnel in delivering direct client care and operating the unit. The role is at Crestwood Champion Healing Center, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Lompoc, California. The campus offers trauma-informed recovery programs focused on supporting people with significant mental health issues on their recovery journey. Requirements
- Current California licensure as an RN, LVN, or LPT.
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
