About The Position
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT), or Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within the nurse’s scope of practice. The nurse also directs non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit. The position is with Crestwood Champion Healing Center, a Mental Health Rehabilitation Center in Lompoc, California. Its trauma-informed recovery programs support people with significant mental health issues on their recovery journey. The role is listed as full-time (NOC) and on-call (NOC).
Requirements
- Current California licensure as an RN, LVN, or LPT.
- Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
- Ability to supervise.
- Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
- Current CPR and first aid certifications.

- Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
