About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse also directs non-licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit. Crestwood’s Sonoma County Healing Center offers an alternative to traditional psychiatric care through collaboration, empowerment, a healing environment, peer providers, family partners, and a recovery-oriented milieu. Its PHF program provides structure and support to promote stabilization and foster recovery, restore hope and self-empowerment, and support clients’ successful return to their communities. This is an on-call position. The posted hourly base pay range is $38–$44.05. The final offer depends on factors including skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background investigation, including criminal history and identity checks. Requirements

Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing.
