About The Position

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse also provides direction to non-licensed personnel in delivering direct client care and operating the unit. The role is with Crestwood Behavioral Health Center Solano’s Our House (ARF) and Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF). These programs provide a continuum of mental health care focused on recovery. Clients participate in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and the Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP), a self-help recovery system designed to decrease symptoms, increase personal responsibility, and improve quality of life. The position is available full-time or part-time on the NOC shift, including weekends and holidays. The posted base pay range is $35–$40.57 per hour; the final offer may depend on factors including skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity. Requirements

Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.
Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
Ability to supervise.
Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mental health nursing is preferred.
