About The Position

Thriveworks is hiring independently licensed clinicians in Alabama to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face mental health sessions in Tuscaloosa. Clinicians provide compassionate, evidence-based care to a range of clients, potentially including couples and children, and help clients make measurable progress. The role requires availability for at least 25 sessions and 30 hours weekly. Clinicians must be comfortable using telehealth and electronic health record tools and contributing positively to a clinical community.

Thriveworks provides credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support, along with paid orientation and training. The company states that clinicians can build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing. Flexible scheduling is available seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET. Compensation is up to $100,300, based on licensure type, session volume, and bonus opportunities. As a W-2 employee, clinicians receive guaranteed bi-weekly pay for completed sessions and may be eligible for employer-sponsored benefits. The role includes access to live clinical support, monthly case consultations, and an online and in-person community of licensed providers.

Requirements

• Must be independently licensed and live in Alabama.
• Eligible licenses include LPC, LMFT, LICSW, or LP (Licensed Psychologist).
• Available for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly.
• Open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children.
• Invested in helping clients achieve measurable progress.
• Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; employment visa sponsorship is not available.
