About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Long Term Care, located in Lyndonville, Vermont. The assignment is for several weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week, available across any shifts. The role is within a long-term care facility setting. The weekly pay ranges from $1,905 to $2,047.
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing (Vermont) or eligible to practice in Vermont
- Ability to work 40 hours per week across any shift in a long-term care setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to document clearly and accurately
- Knowledge of geriatric assessment, wound care, and typical LTC protocols is desirable
- Compliance with all applicable state and federal nursing regulations and facility policies
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor residents’ conditions, document assessments, and communicate changes to the team
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record; ensure accurate MARs and shift-to-shift handoffs
- Support residents with activities of daily living and promote safety, dignity, and infection control
