Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a six-week travel assignment in a long-term care setting located in Malone, NY. Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New York.
• AHA BLS certification; additional relevant certifications as applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year of LTC experience.
• Ability to cover CNA duties as needed.
• Reliable transportation required; public transportation is not accessible in the area.
• Willingness to work the stated evenings schedule; travel assignment for six weeks starting 08/13/2026.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy; monitor patient responses.
• Perform CNA duties as needed to support daily resident care, including activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and care outcomes; communicate findings to the supervising nurse promptly.
• Assist with care planning and participate in interdisciplinary communication to support resident well-being and safety.
• Ensure infection control practices, proper use of equipment, and safety precautions; respond to emergencies per established protocols.
