About The Position

This is a travel temporary assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long Term Care in Sistersville, West Virginia. The assignment is for 8 weeks, starting on 08/27/2026. The role involves providing routine nursing care for residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility under the supervision of an RN or charge nurse. Requirements

Active Practical Nurse license.
Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts (19:00–07:30).
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to follow and update care plans.
Willingness to complete required background checks and pre-employment screenings.
Eligibility to work in the United States and willingness to travel for temporary assignment.

Responsibilities

Provide routine nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision of an RN or charge nurse.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to care plans and physician orders.
Monitor resident conditions, document vital signs and changes, and respond to urgent concerns per protocol.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and promote resident comfort, safety, and dignity.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and communicate resident status.
Ensure accurate charting, regulatory compliance, and adherence to facility policies.
