About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Long Term Care setting in Springfield, Vermont. Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Vermont or eligibility for licensure in Vermont
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent
- Ability to work in a travel assignment and in a skilled nursing facility environment
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to residents under supervision of a registered nurse, in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered; monitor and document patient responses
- Conduct routine nursing assessments, identify changes in condition, and communicate findings to the care team
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, and personal care while promoting safety and dignity
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and ensure continuity of care
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety protocols, and documentation standards
