About The Position
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care travel assignment in Waimea, HI. This is a 13-week assignment with a start date of 08/24/2026. The work setting is a hospital-type facility. Healthforce Healthcare LLC provides assignment support, credentialing, and onboarding support.
Requirements
- Active Hawaii LPN license
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of one year of recent Long-Term Care or skilled nursing experience
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Ability to work the assigned schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a Long-Term Care unit, including medication administration and monitoring
- Conduct assessments, document findings, and contribute to care planning
- Utilize electronic medical records to maintain accurate and timely patient information
- Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to adjust plans of care as needed
- Monitor resident status, respond to changes, and ensure safe, quality care in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and team members to support continuity of care
