About The Position
This is a travel Licensed Practical Nurse position in Long Term Care located in Franklin, New Hampshire. The contract is for 9 weeks, starting on 08/24/2026. The role involves working in a Skilled Nursing Facility / long-term care environment. The shift is 5x8 Days, from 06:45 to 15:15.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in New Hampshire or eligible for licensure by endorsement
- Graduation from an approved LPN program (diploma/certificate)
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a skilled nursing facility and adapt to a 06:45–15:15 shift
- Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and daily tasks
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy.
- Monitor and document patient status, including vital signs, pain levels, and adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to implement care plans and goals.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and ensure safety and comfort.
- Perform wound care, dressing changes, and basic catheter care as delegated.
- Report changes in condition to the supervising nurse and participate in care rounds.
