About The Position

Beech Grove Meadows is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a weekend option role, with day, evening, or night schedules available. The nurse develops meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and uses nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive, collaborative presence and a commitment to excellent geriatric care. Requirements

Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
Have proficient medication management skills.
Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
Work toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
Maintain a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
Manage medications.
Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values to residents, family members, customers, and staff.
