About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Beech Grove Meadows, you will build meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being and provide fulfilling, high-quality senior care. The position is offered as a weekend option with day, evening, or night schedules.

Requirements

• Hold a current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Have proficient medication management skills.
• Be able to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Have a strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to senior care excellence.
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward the shared goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications and conduct thorough assessments.
• Accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
