About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time weekend option position at East Lake. The role involves using nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being while developing meaningful relationships with residents and staff. The LPN helps create a comforting and engaging atmosphere, supports teamwork among care teams, collaborates with nursing and facility teams to provide coordinated care, and fosters respectful communication. Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents through nursing care.
