About The Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Ben Hur in Crawfordsville, you will develop meaningful relationships by learning about residents’ and staff members’ life stories. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, creating a rewarding sense of fulfillment and satisfaction. This is a weekend option opportunity.

Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward the common goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate compassion, accountability, relationship-building, and excellence when working with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
