About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Lake Pointe Village. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and using nursing skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The position is offered as a weekend option, with a night shift available.

The LPN helps create a comforting and engaging atmosphere, promotes teamwork, collaborates with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate care, and contributes to a respectful, positive work environment. Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to exceed residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Conduct resident assessments and document changes in condition accurately.
• Manage medications.
