About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Weekend Option at East Lake. The nurse promotes residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being while building meaningful relationships with residents and staff. The role involves providing supportive, coordinated care and contributing to a respectful, positive team environment. Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward the common goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Demonstrate Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence toward residents, family members, customers and staff.
