About The Position

American Senior Communities is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the weekend option at Lake Pointe Village, with a night shift available. The role centers on building meaningful relationships with residents and staff, learning residents’ life stories, and using nursing skills to support their physical and psychosocial well-being. The LPN helps promote a comforting, engaging atmosphere and works with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated care. Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Conduct resident assessments and accurately document changes in condition.
• Manage medications.
• Demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
