About The Position

Community Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for two pediatric siblings in a supportive home setting in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on personalized, family-centered pediatric care and building meaningful connections with the children and their family.

This is a full-time overnight position, scheduled Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM; weekend work is also available. Community Care describes itself as a family-owned home health agency that has served local communities since 1987, providing skilled nursing and therapy visits as well as adult and pediatric private duty care.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience; home health experience is preferred but not required.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• A caring disposition, strong independence, and a passion for pediatric care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide g-tube care and feedings, and follow aspiration precautions.
• Monitor vital signs.
• Monitor seizures.
• Administer BIPAP.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family.
• Deliver exceptional, family-centered pediatric care.
