About The Position

Community Care, Inc. is hiring a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing for an 8-year-old child in a supportive home setting in New Florence, Pennsylvania. The role is scheduled overnight on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The nurse will provide personalized, family-centered care and support the child’s daily needs and medical care, including tracheostomy and ventilator monitoring.

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• At least 6 months of nursing experience.
• CPR certification.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• A caring heart, strong independence, and a passion for pediatric care.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide G-tube care and feedings.
• Provide tracheostomy and ventilator care and monitoring.
• Monitor seizures and vital signs.
• Provide diabetes care using Dexcom and Omnipod.
• Administer medications safely and accurately.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family.
• Deliver family-centered pediatric care.
