About The Position
Community Care, Inc. is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care to a 15-month-old child in a supportive home setting in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. The role focuses on personalized, family-centered care and building a meaningful connection with the child and family. This is a full-time overnight position scheduled Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The nurse works independently while communicating with the care team and family, with 24/7 on-call clinical support available. Community Care is a family-owned home health agency that has served local communities since 1987.
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania LPN or RN license.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- At least 6 months of nursing experience.
- CPR certification.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Caring disposition, strong independence, and a passion for pediatric care.
Nice To Haves
- Home health experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Perform G/GJ-tube care and feedings.
- Monitor vital signs.
- Provide and monitor tracheostomy and ventilator care.
- Administer oxygen.
- Administer medications safely and accurately.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with the care team and family.
- Deliver exceptional, family-centered pediatric care.
