About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Long Term Care located in Clovis, New Mexico. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. The role involves working three 12-hour day shifts per week, from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM, within a skilled nursing facility setting.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (state not specified)
Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is desirable
Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
Availability for 12-hour daytime shifts on a 3x12 schedule (6:00 AM–6:30 PM)
Comfortable using electronic health records and performing medication administration
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed medications and treatments, document in the resident’s chart, and monitor responses to therapies.
Provide direct nursing care and assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, hygiene, feeding, and safety.
Monitor residents’ vital signs, assess changes in condition, and report to the supervising registered nurse; implement care plans as directed.
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure medication administration records are up to date.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care, participate in care planning, and communicate resident needs and changes clearly.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized care environment; adhere to infection control procedures and safety policies.
