About The Position
This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Long Term Care in South Burlington, VT. The assignment is temporary and arranged by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. It offers 40 guaranteed hours per week with evening and/or overnight shift options. The contract duration is for several weeks, with a start date of 09/22/2026. Weekly pay is estimated between $1,857 and $1,987.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in Vermont (or eligibility to practice in VT)
- Current BLS certification
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
- Ability to work evenings and/or overnight shifts and travel for temporary assignments
- Effective communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide routine nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting under the direction of a supervising clinician
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments per physician orders; document administration and patient response
- Monitor vital signs, assess changes in condition, and communicate changes to the care team
- Assist residents with activities of daily living; promote dignity, safety, and comfort
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate charting and ensure infection control and safety standards are met
