About The Position
This travel assignment is with Healthforce Healthcare LLC and involves direct resident care in a long-term care/assisted living environment. The role is a temporary assignment in a long-term care/assisted living setting with a start date of 10/26/2026 and a duration of several weeks, though assignment length varies. The position offers guaranteed hours of 40 per week and a flexible shift.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state-appropriate licensure)
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Prior experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, resident-centered care environment
- Knowledge of safety standards and accurate documentation practices
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policy
- Monitor residents’ health status, document observations, and promptly report changes
- Provide direct bedside care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Assist with wound care, routine nursing procedures, and infection control practices
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to update plans and communicate changes
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record and ensure resident privacy and safety
