Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care travel assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC in Sewickley, PA. Requirements
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced long-term care environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills; ability to collaborate with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses according to care plans.
- Assess, document, and communicate patient status; report changes to the supervising RN.
- Provide basic nursing care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents.
- Monitor vital signs, observe for changes, and respond to clinical alarms and call lights promptly.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement care plans and ensure resident safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in charting systems; adhere to policies and regulations.
