About The Position

This is a travel assignment for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Long Term Care in Clovis, New Mexico. The contract duration is 13 weeks, starting on 09/14/2026. The role involves providing direct patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility, administering medications, monitoring residents, and documenting care. The position offers 12-hour day shifts with a 3 on, 3 off schedule.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Mexico
Current BLS/CPR certification
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a long-term care environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Eligible to work in the United States for a travel assignment
Willingness to travel to and work at the assignment location and follow facility policies

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to residents under the supervision of an RN in a long-term care setting
Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to facility policy and physician orders
Monitor vital signs, assess resident status, and report changes promptly
Assist residents with activities of daily living and rehabilitative activities as directed
Document care in the electronic health record, including MAR and progress notes
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to implement and adjust resident care plans
Uphold safety, infection control, and fall-prevention practices
