LPN / Licensed Practical Nurse - Private Duty (Days)
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is hiring a dedicated Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care to a pediatric patient in Greenback, Tennessee. The nurse follows the patient’s plan of care, supports the patient’s dignity and independence, and attends school with the patient. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The office is in Knoxville, Tennessee, with coverage in Greenback. Adoration Health, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, provides compassionate care in patients’ homes and supports patients, families, and caregivers. The organization emphasizes helping patients live with dignity and fulfillment.
Requirements
- LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
- Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
- Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
- Professional CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric case experience; G-tube experience preferred.
- One or more years of nursing experience preferred.
- Home Health care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
- Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed under the plan of care, and assess the results.
- Accurately document care provided, nursing actions, communications, progress, and outcomes for established goals.
- Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
- Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to maintain adequate quantities.
- Ensure patient needs are met according to physician instructions.
