About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care to a pediatric client in Church Hill, Tennessee (Hawkins County). The office is located in Greeneville, Tennessee. This is a full-time day schedule, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The nurse follows the client’s plan of care, supports the client’s dignity and independence, and communicates with the client’s family and care team. G-tube experience is preferred.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• G-tube experience.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Home health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed under the client’s plan of care, and assess the results.
• Document nursing actions, care provided, communications, and progress and outcomes toward established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to ensure adequate amounts are available.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
