About The Position

Adoration Health is hiring a Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered, one-to-one care for a pediatric patient in Greenback, Tennessee. The position is full-time, days, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and the nurse attends school with the patient. The office is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. G-tube experience is preferred.

The nurse follows the patient's plan of care, administers medications and feedings, and provides other care as needed. The role includes documenting care and outcomes, communicating changes in the patient's condition to the physician, case manager, and family, and coordinating supplies and medications. Adoration describes its environment as supportive and offers team support alongside independent work.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing, with current unrestricted registration and licensure in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• G-tube experience.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Home Health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client's plan of care while maintaining the client's dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed under the plan of care, and assess and report results.
• Document nursing actions and care provided, communications, progress, and outcomes for established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client's medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to maintain adequate supplies.
• Ensure patient needs are met according to the physician's instructions.
