About The Position

Adoration Health is hiring a Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered care in the Memphis, Tennessee area. The position is based out of the Cordova, Tennessee office and serves a pediatric patient whose care needs require G-tube experience. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., on days.

The nurse provides one-to-one care in the patient's home, follows the plan of care, and supports the patient's dignity and independence. Responsibilities include administering medications and feedings and providing other care as needed; documenting care and outcomes; communicating with the family, case manager, and physicians; and ensuring needed supplies, medications, and feedings are available.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.
• Pediatric case G-tube experience is required due to patient needs.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Home health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client's plan of care while maintaining the client's dignity and independence.
• Administer medications and feedings, provide oxygen and ostomy care as needed, and assess and report results in accordance with the plan of care.
• Accurately document nursing actions, communications, progress, and outcomes for established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client's medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to ensure adequate amounts are on hand.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
