About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is hiring a Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered care to an adult client in Antioch, Tennessee. The role is based out of the Murfreesboro office and is scheduled full-time, Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The nurse provides one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care, supporting the client’s dignity and independence. G-tube experience is preferred.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing, with current unrestricted registration and a license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• G-tube experience.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Home health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as required by the plan of care, and assess and report results.
• Document nursing care and communications with the family, case manager, and physicians; record progress and outcomes toward established goals; and report changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to ensure adequate quantities are available.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
