About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide expert, patient-centered care in Graysville, Tennessee. The position is based out of the Chattanooga office and provides one-to-one care to a young adult client, following the client’s plan of care while supporting their dignity and independence. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. G/J-tube experience is preferred.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• G/J-tube experience.
• At least one year of nursing experience.
• Home health care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as required by the plan of care, and assess and report results.
• Accurately document nursing care, communications, progress, and outcomes related to established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to maintain adequate availability.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
