About The Position

Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse to provide patient-centered care in Manchester, Tennessee. The role provides one-to-one care for a pediatric client in the client’s home, following the plan of care and supporting the client’s dignity and independence. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The office is in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and the coverage area is Manchester, Tennessee.

The nurse administers medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as prescribed; documents care, communications, and progress toward goals; reports changes in the client’s condition; coordinates supplies and medications; and ensures the client’s needs are met according to physician instructions. The position offers one-to-one care, flexible scheduling options, and the ability to work independently with team support.

Requirements

• LPN/LPT/LVN degree from an accredited college of nursing.
• Current unrestricted registration and license in the state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of car insurance.
• Professional CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• G-tube experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Home health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one care according to the client’s plan of care while maintaining the client’s dignity and independence.
• Administer medications, feedings, oxygen, and ostomy care as needed under the plan of care, and assess and report results.
• Document nursing actions, communications with family, the case manager, and physicians, and progress toward established goals.
• Inform the physician, case manager, and family of changes in the client’s medical condition and needs.
• Coordinate or order supplies, medications, and feedings to ensure adequate amounts are available.
• Ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions.
