About The Position
Licensed Practical Nurse needed for a long-term care travel assignment in Albuquerque, NM. The role starts 08/15/2026 and runs for 10 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $828 to $874 per week, with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 3x12-night shifts (18:00–06:30). Work setting: long-term care / nursing home environment.
Requirements
- Active LPN license (state-specific) and ability to practice in NM
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program; current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work a 3x12 night schedule (18:00–06:30) and adapt to shift requirements
- Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work in a long-term care setting and comply with regulatory standards
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting according to the plan of care
- Administer medications, treatments, and PRN therapies as prescribed; monitor for adverse effects
- Assess residents, document findings, and promptly report changes to the supervising RN
- Monitor vital signs, wound care, catheter care, and basic restorative activities as needed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, person-centered care
- Adhere to infection control practices, safety policies, and privacy regulations
