About The Position

Aster Place Assisted Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The nurse builds meaningful relationships by learning residents’ and staff members’ life stories, contributes nursing skills to resident care, and helps create a comforting and engaging atmosphere. The role involves medication management, resident assessments, documentation of changes in resident condition, and collaboration with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care. The position is offered on full-time evening and night shifts.

Requirements

Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
Proficient medication management skills.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.

Manage medications.
