About The Position

Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for full-time day and evening shifts and a part-time night shift. LPNs build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use their nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role calls for a supportive presence, leadership and teamwork, collaboration with nursing and facility teams, and clear interpersonal communication. Nurses are expected to demonstrate American Senior Communities’ C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated, comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment through interpersonal communication.
• Manage medications.
• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
