About The Position
White Springs Senior Living is seeking a dedicated, compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to lead medication management and resident care in its Assisted Living community in Warrenton, Virginia. The role includes overseeing the medication program, mentoring Resident Assistants, and supporting residents’ health and wellbeing in a family-style senior living community. The position is described as offering flexible PRN hours.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in good standing.
- Minimum age of 21.
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a senior living environment.
- Strong leadership instincts and a genuine passion for senior care.
Responsibilities
- Administer and document medications according to physician orders and state regulations.
- Ensure timely medication administration and help coordinate resident prescription refills.
- Communicate directly with physicians and healthcare providers about medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support.
- Respond promptly to resident emergency call systems.
- Supervise, support, and mentor Resident Assistants, fostering a positive team culture.
- Support Resident Assistant duties as needed.
