About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Weekend Option at Allisonville Meadows. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories. You will use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being, providing rewarding and fulfilling care. Evening and night shifts are available.

Requirements

• Current, valid Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State of Indiana.
• Proficient medication management skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident condition.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
• Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
• Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Work with the team toward the common goal of excellent resident care.
• Support a respectful and positive work environment.
• Manage medications, conduct thorough assessments, and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Demonstrate compassion, accountability, relationship-building, and excellence with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
