Licensed Practical Nurse, Assisted Living LPN
About The Position
Suite Living Senior Care is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide resident-centered nursing care across two nearby Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. The position follows a consistent 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule, rotating between the two locations: three days at Location A and two days at Location B one week, then two days at Location A and three days at Location B the next week. There are no evenings, nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities. The LPN collaborates with caregivers, leadership, and healthcare providers to support safe, compassionate, personalized care and residents’ independence, dignity, and quality of life. Training is available for a candidate with a passion for senior care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Active Minnesota LPN license in good standing.
- Compassionate, resident-focused mindset.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and sound clinical judgment.
- Reliable, organized, and committed to quality care.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, or Long-Term Care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care, including medication administration, treatments, and assessments.
- Monitor residents’ health and communicate changes to the care team.
- Assist in developing and updating individualized care plans.
- Support residents with memory loss through patience, empathy, and engagement.
- Build relationships with residents, families, and team members.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Mentor and support caregivers and new staff.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies.
