About The Position

SMP Health is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses to provide direct nursing care to residents at St. Catherine North or St. Catherine South in Fargo, North Dakota. The role includes administering medications and treatments, monitoring residents’ conditions, supporting care planning, documenting care, and helping residents achieve their highest level of health and well-being. LPNs work alongside an interdisciplinary team and support CNAs in delivering quality long-term care. The position is available as full-time or part-time, with day, evening, and night shifts and an every-other-weekend and every-other-holiday rotation. Pay is $29.00–$33.00 per hour, plus shift differentials of $3.00 per hour for PM shifts and $4.00 per hour for NOC shifts.

Requirements

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Dakota.
Strong clinical and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable using electronic medical record systems.

Nice To Haves

Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing.

Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
Monitor resident conditions and report changes to the RN or provider.
Perform resident assessments and contribute to care planning.
Document resident care in the electronic medical record.
Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as assigned.
Support and assist CNAs in delivering quality resident care.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and care team members.
Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life.
Follow nursing policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
